In short

  • We collect only what we need to quote, deliver and support your orders.
  • We never sell your personal information.
  • Card details go straight to our payment provider; we never see or store them.
  • You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time.

This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what applies.

1.Who we are

Marketing Your Businesses (“we”, “us”) runs marketingyourbusinesses.com and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us about privacy at hello@marketingyourbusinesses.com.

2.What we collect

Information you give us:

  • Contact details: your name, email address, country and, if you choose, your phone number.
  • Account details: your login email and a securely hashed password.
  • Project information: briefs, files, references, messages and feedback you send about your orders.
  • Billing details: your billing name, address and order history. Card details are entered directly with our payment provider.

Information collected automatically:

  • Technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, kept in our server logs for security and troubleshooting.
  • Your light or dark theme choice, stored only in your own browser.

3.How we use it

  • To prepare quotes and deliver the work you order.
  • To process payments, issue invoices and handle refunds.
  • To send you messages about your orders and account.
  • To keep the site and your account secure and to prevent fraud.
  • To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
  • To send occasional news about our services, only if you've opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.

4.Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information. We share it only where needed to run our services:

  • The specialists working on your order, who see the brief and files for that order, and the instructions our team passes on.
  • Our payment provider, to take payments and process refunds.
  • Service providers that host our site, store files and send email for us, under agreements that protect your information.
  • Government bodies, when you order a registration or compliance service that requires us to file information in your name.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it.

5.Cookies and similar technology

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. The site stores your theme choice in your browser. When client accounts open, we'll use a cookie to keep you signed in; it's essential and isn't used for tracking.

If we add analytics in the future, we'll update this policy first and, where required, ask for your consent.

6.How long we keep it

  • Account and order records: for as long as your account is open, then up to 6 years for tax and accounting purposes.
  • Project files: up to 12 months after an order is completed, so you can download them again. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Messages from the contact form: up to 12 months unless they become part of an order.
  • Server logs: up to 90 days.

7.How we protect it

All traffic to the site is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, access to client information is limited to the people who need it for your order, and card data never touches our servers.

8.Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • See the personal information we hold about you and get a copy.
  • Correct anything that's wrong or incomplete.
  • Ask us to delete your information, unless we must keep it by law.
  • Object to or restrict how we use it, including for marketing.
  • Withdraw consent you've given at any time.

To make a request, email hello@marketingyourbusinesses.com. We'll reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.

9.International transfers

We work with clients and specialists in different countries, so your information may be processed outside the country you live in. When that happens, we take steps to make sure it's protected to the standard described in this policy.

10.Children

Our services are for adults and businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

11.Changes to this policy

We'll update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we'll tell account holders about significant changes by email.
