Terms of Service

These terms explain how requesting, ordering and receiving work from us operates, and what each of us can expect from the other.

Last updated

In short

  • Requesting a service and receiving a quote is free.
  • You pay in full when you accept a quote, and the payment is held until you approve the final delivery.
  • Every order includes a preview you can approve or send back with notes.
  • Once you've paid and approved, you own the final deliverables we made for you.

This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what applies.

1.About these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply whenever you use marketingyourbusinesses.com (the “Site”), create an account, request a quote or place an order with Marketing Your Businesses (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you're acting for a business, you confirm you're allowed to accept these Terms on its behalf.

2.Your account

You need an account to place and manage orders. You must be at least 18 years old and give accurate details.

  • Keep your login details private. You're responsible for activity on your account.
  • Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed it.
  • We may suspend an account that is used for fraud, abuse or anything unlawful.

3.Requests and quotes

Requesting a service is free and doesn't commit you to anything. We review what you send and reply with an itemised quote in US dollars that lists each item, what it includes and its price.

A quote is valid for 14 days unless it says otherwise. Starting prices shown on the Site are the minimum for each service; your quote depends on the scope you ask for.

If the scope changes after you've accepted a quote, we send a revised quote for the difference only. Nothing is added to your bill unless you accept it.

4.Payment

When you accept a quote, you pay the full amount. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider; we never see or store your full card number or security code.

Your dashboard shows the payment as held while we work. It is marked as released once you approve the final delivery, or when an order is completed under the section on approval below.

An invoice is issued when you accept a quote and is available in your dashboard. Prices are in US dollars; your bank or card provider may charge conversion or foreign transaction fees, which we don't control.

5.Previews, revisions and delivery

Every order includes at least one preview. You can approve it or request changes with notes and attachments. The number of revision rounds included is stated in your quote.

Delivery dates are estimates that start once we have everything we need from you. Delays in sending information or feedback move the date accordingly.

Changes that go beyond the original brief count as new scope and are quoted separately.

6.Approval and completion

You approve an order from your dashboard once you're happy with the final delivery. Approval releases the payment and completes the order.

If we deliver the final work and you don't approve it or request changes within 14 days, we'll remind you. If there's still no response 7 days after that reminder, the order is treated as approved.

7.What you're responsible for

  • Giving us accurate information, files and feedback on time.
  • Making sure you have the right to use anything you send us, such as logos, photos, text and trademarks.
  • Checking final work before you approve it, including spelling, figures, legal details and contact information.
  • Using the deliverables lawfully.

For registration and compliance services, you're responsible for the accuracy of the information submitted in your name. Official fees charged by government bodies are listed separately in your quote.

8.Ownership of the work

Once you've paid in full and approved an order, you own the final deliverables we created for you, and you can use them for any lawful purpose.

Some deliverables include third-party material such as fonts, stock images or software libraries. These remain under their own licences, which we'll tell you about where they apply.

Unused concepts, drafts and our own tools and methods remain ours. Unless you ask us not to, we may show completed work in our portfolio; you can ask us to keep any order private.

9.Work we won't do

We can decline any request. We won't produce work that is unlawful, deceptive, hateful, infringes someone else's rights, or impersonates a real person or organisation.

10.Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel an order at any time. How much is refunded depends on whether work has started; see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for the full details.

11.Our liability

We do our work with reasonable skill and care. We can't guarantee specific business results, such as sales, search rankings, followers or the outcome of an official application.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we're not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

12.Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes don't affect orders you've already accepted; those continue under the Terms in place when you accepted the quote.

13.Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where Marketing Your Businesses is registered. If something goes wrong, please contact us first; most issues can be resolved quickly and informally.
